Hello Friends!

Hope all of you have had a great week!

Here it is Wednesday again.....I think

the weeks have just been flying by!

I want summer to drag on.....PLEASE!

Here is what has been on my desk for many months.

This domino book was made for a very dear friend.

She inspired the theme for this book (Birds&Bees) because she 

had bee hives and the most beautiful 'bird'

Christmas tree I have ever seen. 

We only get to see them once a year now that we

have moved to Ohio and they still live in Texas. 

This book has been done for awhile but I am just now

getting it packed up to mail.

 Here are my pages all laid out and ready to sew and glue.

This is the front of the book all done!

I stitched. I used all vintage lace on this book.

This is the back of the book. 

Making these tiny domino books are my favorite

thing to do! 

Yes- they do take a while.

I get a theme in my head and I just cant stop till its done,

each one seems to tell a story of its very own.

So happy I get to share them with you!

Just a quick share of my Tea-Time ATCs

Here they are all finished and are about to go in the

mail to Kimberly @ Art Joy Stuff to be swapped.

So excited! I love to make anything that has 

to do with tea! 

So now I am going to go turn on the TV

and enjoy a lovely cup of Earl Grey Cream Tea

on this wonderful Sunday afternoon 

with my sweet husband!

Happy Spring Everyone!

For some reason I signed up for a large amount 

of swaps for April & May. 

(There goes my bi-polar crafting again!) 

Oh well they've been fun swaps

and I've needed the diversion 

while waiting on mother nature to find

her Spring! 

 This is an ATC Tea in the garden themed swap.

I pulled all the stuff I thought I wanted to use.....

Here they are all done!  

I love to make anything TEA themed!

Today is a Confused 'Mother Nature Day'

We had 3 inches of snow the other day AND it is

supposed to be 60 tomorrow......sigh

So here is what is on my desk today.

 This is the beginning of my altered matchbox

for a swap. 

 

Here it is all finished and ready to be packed up and

shipped to its new home!

Hello Friends!

I have had a busy creative crafting week.

For some reason I have periods of time 

that I don't do much in in my studio room but then

I work like a wild woman and make up for it!

Maybe I am a bipolar crafter?

That actually would explain a lot!

My friend asked me to make her some cards

so today I made 25 easy cards; 15 for her to send

 when she needs them and 10 for me.

I got to use my sewing stamps, my chairs 

and chandeliers (just some of my favs!).

The cards were already printed heavy cardstock,

 (I only buy them when they are 1/2 off 48 cards with envies),

I just added the middle square outside

 and the inside sentiment.

Sometimes I just need it to be easy and CUTE!
